Making health insurance less daunting.
While healthcare reform was a widely covered topic in the media, thousands of Utah residents were unaware of the changes and enrollment deadlines. Summit Group organized a two-day public event put on by SelectHealth.
Participants were welcomed to an environment where getting a last-minute healthcare plan was anything but intimidating. The event included delicious food, the “Take Care of Your Selfie” photo booth, the Wheel of Misfortune, and friendly sales representatives. The event was advertised in print, door hangers, radio and on TV.
More than 300 Utah residents signed up for health insurance plans during the two-day event. Thousands more signed up for plans during the following week, exceeding enrollment expectations.
